Invention or Innovation?

I love that quote and whoever said it must be a master bullshitter.

I said something today on-the-fly that would have made sense or at least made me sound like some expert.. haha. If only they knew better. I asked some vendors if they knew the difference between Invention and Innovation. Invention is driven by need said I. Innovation creates the need. Now is that great taurus feces or what?!
